幹は爆心地方向にわずかに傾いています。1981年に新本堂が建立されたとき、イチョウを保存するためにこのような階段が造られました。

The trunk of this tree leans slightly in the direction of the hypocenter. When a new main hall was constructed in 1981, a new staircase was designed to preserve the gingko tree in its original location.
Note: Temple grounds are a sacred place; be sure to be respectful of those going to worship. There may be times when you will not be allowed inside the grounds.
